The food and service were excellent. Staff was very friendly and informative about did choices. Kalamazoo doesn't have another Turkish restaurant so this is where to go for great options that aren't as commonplace to the area.

I ordered their lentil soup, flatbread, coffee on sand, GΓΆbit dΓΆner with chicken, and a falafel wrap that they customized for my sister, who is vegetarian. It was a splendid experience. I was heading from Grand Rapids to Pennsylvania, and after my experience with the food in Grand Rapids, I was honestly skeptical. But this place completely blew my mind. I haven’t had Turkish food this amazing in a long time. It’s definitely a must-visit spot. The restaurant was extremely clean, and the staff were very friendly.

Service was fast and friendly, more than happy to answer any questions about the menu. I came on a Sunday afternoon and there were only a few other patrons inside. Turkish coffee was exquisite friendly reminder not to drink it to the bottom bits. My beef doner sandwich was sensational the bread was pillowy soft and firm on the bottom. If I lived closer I'd be here probably once a week.

I was really craving homemade Turkish food like my family’s and this place truly delivered! They are from Erzeroum and the flavors are very similar to my Armenian family’s cuisine. We had manti which was pillowy soft and delicious. Lahmacun is a generous portion and it was really juicy and so good. My husband had the soujuk pide and it was super cheesy and yummy. For dessert I highly recommend the knefe which made for satisfying cheese-pulls and is the perfect combination of sweet and savory. Pairs perfectly with Turkish coffee and tea.

I had been wanting to come here for awhile now. I finally got a chance to come on a random weekday afternoon. It was dead when I arrived, just me and the staff. They seemed a little weirded out that I wanted to dine in. I took my time trying to figure out what I wanted to order being my first time with Turkish cuisine. Other than the grape leaves it was a struggle to figure out what I wanted. I ended up with the pide with sojouk, which was probably the *safest thing I could've ordered. Basically a Turkish flat bread pizza, good but not much of a stretch into the unfamiliar. My grape leaves were good too, one of the better versions I've had in awhile. I was somewhat annoyed that the entire staff sat in a booth on their phones and ignored me the majority of the time. It was the bare minimum of interaction and I had to call someone over to bring me a bill and a box. Still bought a Dubai chocolate bar that was more sugar than anything else. I'll just order Togo next time.
